Senior Civil Engineer specialized in Diagnostics and Project Management

With over 10 years of experience in civil engineering, structural works, and building structures, he works on complex projects combining diagnostics, execution studies, and project management, supporting both local authorities and major public and private project owners.

He has participated in numerous structural diagnostic operations (bridges, footbridges, underground galleries, highway structures), including drafting IQOA reports, reinforcement studies, and proposing solutions adapted to regulatory and technical constraints. His expertise also covers design and execution studies, notably on projects involving retaining walls, pedestrian bridges, reinforced concrete slabs, and complex structures in constrained sites.

His experience also includes highly technical missions in the field of nuclear decommissioning, where he conducted reinforcement studies, deconstruction works, and risk management (asbestos, radiation, waste handling). These experiences give him strong analytical skills and methodological rigor, applicable to any sensitive environment.

Leading project management and project owner assistance missions, he coordinates studies and supervises construction work while ensuring technical compliance, safety, and durability of the structures. His versatility, ranging from structural calculations to project leadership, makes him a complete and reliable point of contact for demanding operations.

PhD in Mechanical Engineering & Expert in Modeling Applied to Structural Diagnostics

With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, he has solid international experience, notably in the United States. Specialized in advanced numerical simulation, he applies finite element methods, dynamics, and multiphysics modeling to analyze structural behavior and anticipate complex phenomena.

His expertise covers both the use of reference software (Abaqus, Matlab, Comsol, SolidWorks, Catia, AutoCAD) and the development of custom calculation tools, databases, and integrated software solutions. He has designed original models for structural analysis, hydraulic flows, drilling dynamics, and the behavior of polymer and composite materials.

In parallel, he has worked as a researcher and lecturer in higher education, coordinating engineering programs and supervising projects based on digital innovation and agile management. This dual technical and academic background allows him to combine scientific rigor, software innovation, and knowledge transfer.

He notably contributes to missions involving diagnostics, structural verification, and disorder analysis on sensitive or complex structures, where precision, methodology, and creativity are essential to ensure reliable results and infrastructure safety.

Civil Engineering Expert – Structural Diagnostics and Verification

Civil Engineer with over 40 years of experience in buildings, civil structures, and sensitive infrastructures. Specialist in structural diagnostics, complex reinforcements, and verification of existing structures. He has worked for major public institutions (RATP, Défense, City of Paris) on strategic projects with high technical stakes. His rigorous approach combines field expertise, advanced calculations, and thorough knowledge of French and European standards.

He is also well-versed in older technical regulations (BAEL, CCBA 68, CCBA 60, MRU 45, CM 66 and 80 amendments, NV 65, DTU 13-1 and 13-2, DTU 21, fascicles 61 title V and 62, etc.). Understanding these documents is essential to properly assess the design of existing structures, identify weaknesses, and refine their analysis.

He possesses specific expertise in the following areas related to existing constructions:

  • Recalculations and evaluation of load-bearing capacity (existing structures in good condition or damaged):

Civil engineer graduated in 2004, he has over 20 years of experience in the design, calculation, and management of complex projects in buildings, roads and utilities (VRD), and civil structures. He has contributed to numerous large-scale projects, ranging from hydraulic and road infrastructures to high-rise buildings, as well as industrial, hotel, and institutional buildings.

His career has led him to work for public project owners (ministries, municipalities, educational institutions, hospitals) as well as private developers, providing structural, foundation, and steel framework studies, along with the coordination and supervision of large-scale construction sites.

In parallel, he has distinguished himself as a civil engineering trainer and lecturer. Certified in Arche, Robot Structural Analysis, and Revit, he has delivered numerous professional and university trainings, supervising over 120 final-year projects. Author of several specialized books on reinforced concrete and steel structures, he combines scientific rigor, educational skills, and practical experience.

This dual expertise as a practicing engineer and educator makes him a valuable asset for developing reliable solutions and transferring knowledge to technical teams.
